Softride Rocket/FASTT Lower pivot, complete

It’s pretty standard for vehicles to get a 5,000 mile tune up. If you’ve ridden your Softride bike 5,000 miles, you’ve either ridden from Bellingham to St. Louis and back, or you’ve ridden around a mile track, well, 5,000 times. Either way, you should do a little maintenance on your bike.

If you have a Rocket or FASTT frame, we recommend you change out the Lower Pivot assembly. This can wear out more quickly if you take your bike apart often. The kit includes a left and right taper, a replacement bolt, a sliding washer and some grease. Changing these out will make sure you get the consistent frame compression, road traction and comfort you’re used to.

And if you’re looking at doing this, you might also look at replacing the Upper Pivot assembly. Or if you have a Classic Beam, you might want to replace your Front Eyelet assembly.
