Softride Rocket or FASTT Beam Upper Pivot Kit

It’s pretty standard for vehicles to get a 5,000 mile tune up. If you’ve ridden your Softride bike 5,000 miles, you’ve either ridden from Bellingham to St. Louis and back, or you’ve ridden around a mile track, well, 5,000 times. Either way, you should do a little maintenance on your bike.

If you have a Rocket or FASTT frame, we recommend you change out the Upper Pivot assembly. This can wear out more quickly if you take your bike apart often. The kit includes the left and right taper pin, a replacement bolt and a pressure distribution washer. Changing these out will make sure you get the consistent frame compression, road traction and comfort you’re used to.

And if you’re looking at doing this, you might also look at replacing the Lower Pivot assembly. Or if you have a Classic Beam, you might want to replace your Front Eyelet assembly.
